Project overview

The Watch Safari gives 18 watch enthusiasts from around the world the opportunity to visit two manufactures (one large, one small), every day for a week and spend the evening with a brand executive, while also discovering the GPHG exhibition with a guide. Everything is organised and covered by GMT (participants, of course, pay for their own travel).

The 18 participants are divided into two groups (French-speaking and English-speaking) and are most often welcomed by the CEO, with whom they have the opportunity to speak.

Each manufacture visit is documented with photos and videos, which are then shared across our GMT and WorldTempus media outlets to promote the beauty of watchmaking on a global scale.

The participants’ perception of the brand changes radically before and after the visit. They understand the added value of a manufacture and the work of the artisans, and are amazed by their talent.

The itinerary changes every year, starting from 2024.
